Originally from Honduras, Dennis Cheong earned his bachelor’s in Computer Systems Engineering before moving to Canada for a master’s in Applied Computer Science. Mentored by former YouTube and Slack tech leads, he’s built multiple platforms from the ground up to thousands of weekly users.

At PLACE, Dennis led key projects like automating ad lead capture (saving 200+ hours/year), job syndication for recruiter.ai, and building the AI-powered “Help Me Write” tool. Now at AreaPro, he’s the technical force driving our product forward. Outside of work, he enjoys taekwondo and long-distance running.
